I learned how to make jewelry from watching my sister Andrea Brown, a working Sculpture and Photography Artist, and Nicole Minkin, a Printmaking Artist one summer at my house in Asheville, NC. I worked at the local bead shop, while I was in high school. I was there so much they basically had no choice but to hire me!

The rest is history, I suppose.
I went to school in New York City, always loving
science I left with a B.A in Environmental Science and will preach until I
rest. I worked within different areas of this industry, but I keep coming back
to my artistic outlet.
I am now pursuing my outlet as a business, The
Golden Knot; I hope to make people happy with my creations in the process!
